Job Title:
Scullery Supervisor


Location:
Cape Town CBD


Start Date:
March 2023


Key Responsibilities:

  • Control operating equipment
  • Rostering
  • Supervise the daily kitchen utility operations and staff
  • Responsible for dish room operations, night cleaning, back dock cleaning and maintenance
  • Supervise kitchen employees not actively engaged in cooking (e.g., dishwashers, kitchen helpers, etc.)
  • Continuously strive to improve guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience as a Sculler Supervisor in a 4star hotel setting
  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
