    Job Summary


    Pro Tem Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Steelpoort, Limpopo. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing heavy-duty diesel engines in an underground mining environment.



    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines to ensure optimal performance and safety

    • Diagnose and troubleshoot engine problems using diagnostic tools and software

    • Install, repair, and assemble diesel engines and components, including DEUTZ, KILOSKAR, CUMMINS, CAT, and PERKINS engines

    • Work in a team environment to complete tasks and meet deadlines

    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies



    Requirements

    • Red Seal Diesel Mechanic or similar trade qualification

    • 5+ years of experience as a Field Service Technician in a heavy-duty diesel engine environment

    • Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components and fuel systems

    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
