Our client has an opportunity available for a Laboratory Technician based in Kgapane.


Requirements:


  • Matric.
  • SMLTSA certificate.
  • Registered with HPCSA in a relevant field such as a Medical Technician.
  • 0 to 3 years' experience in a laboratory environment post qualification.
  • Health and safety regulations knowledge.
  • Knowledge of technical appliances.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to demonstrate the use of laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities:


  • Always ensure compliance with health and safety measures.
  • Ensure adherence to decontamination procedures are always upheld.
  • Analyse patient samples according to laboratory SOP.
  • Ensure that reliable and accurate results are always generated.
  • File and store specimen daily.
  • Perform equipment maintenance.
This is a 4-month Fixed Term Contract position.
