(App) that is freely available to any ECD centre in South Africa. This mobile App suite ensures that ECD centre owners have all the tools, resources and training in the palm of their hand and includes tools and resources for teachers and parents.


We are looking for an action-orientated person with community development experience, strong networking and interpersonal skills to facilitate introduction to and promote the GROW suite of products and services, drive adoption of the App and build a robust pipeline for the GROW ECD Small Business Programme.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify and source target markets e.g. ECD forums, organisations and ECD centre owners to present the
GROW suite of products and services

  • Find creative and inventive ways to bring in leads, evaluate and adapt in collaboration with Head of
Partnership and Marketing.

  • Network and build relationships with gatekeepers who can facilitate access to target markets to present
GROW services.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with ECD owners, ECD forums, community stakeholders.
  • Participate in ECD sector communities, keep abreast of trends, attend relevant stakeholder meetings and provide feedback to Regional Management and Head of Marketing.
  • Arrange, prepare and make presentations (facetoface and online), sensing the audience and adapt accordingly.
  • Market and demonstrate value of the technology platform and GROW suite of products and services to
ECD centre owners and organisations.

  • Provide feedback to Marketing on customer related feedback, ensure marketing materials are updated and stock is replenished/ordered timeously
  • Support ECD centre owners and partner organisation centres who adopt the App in onboarding the App.
  • Arrange, and provide App support sessions (facetoface and online).
  • Monitor usage of App, followup, provide support and provide feedback to Regional Management, Head of Partnership and Marketing.
  • Liaise with Helpdesk re Appbased queries and followup.
  • Identify opportunities for social media and GROW Online Academy content enhancement and provide feedback to Regional management, National Ops manager and Head of Education where applicable.
  • Identify target market priorities to inform marketing and comms asset development (i.e. focus area ECD centre owners are busy with and how to drive / how to support owners.
  • Hand over Hot Leads to team for the ECD Business Support programme pipeline.

Requirements and Competencies:


  • A relevant tertiary education
  • Minimum of 5 years' community development experience
  • A valid Driver's License and own reliable transport is essential
  • ECD sector experience an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office suite
  • Knowledge and experience implementing technology strategies an advantage
  • A strong interest and understanding of technology and how this can be leveraged to drive behaviour change and impact
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong networking, selling and presentation skills
  • English speaking, ability to speak vernacular will be an advantage
  • Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills and good listening skills
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Initiative, problem solving and critical thinking skills

Remuneration:
R20 000 per month
