Job Summary

We are seeking a Shop Assistant to join our team based in Rustenburg, South Africa. As a Shop Assistant, you will be responsible for serving customers and processing sales transactions, as well as certain stock-related tasks.

Main Responsibilities:

Counter Sales: Provide excellent customer service and ensure high levels of satisfaction through effective sales interactions.
Warehouse Operations: Assist with stock receiving, dispatching, picking off stock, and conducting stock takes.
Colour Matching: Ensure accurate colour matching and quality control.
Store Maintenance: Maintain outstanding store conditions and visual merchandising standards.
Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety protocols and procedures.
Inventory Management: Receive, process, and organize shipments and deliveries accordingly.
Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve any issues promptly.

Requirements:

Education: Grade 12 or equivalent.
Valid Driver's License: Required for job duties.
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years retail experience.

Prioritizing Orders and Planning: You must be able to prioritize orders and plan accordingly. You should also have effective problem-solving abilities and be proactive in a dynamic environment. Your ability to think 'outside the box' is essential in a fast-developing environment.
