    Marketing Coordinator Position

    We are seeking a skilled Marketing Coordinator to manage local marketing activities in our Giyani office.

    Purpose of the Role:

    The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all marketing activities align with our national marketing strategy, with a focus on brand activation (70-80% of the role).

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Align local marketing activities with the national marketing strategy.
    • Brand Activations:
    • Create pop-up sales offices/information kiosks during fibre projects.
    • Mobilize regional resources to man kiosks, events, and ensure proper training/appearance.
    • Identify and create opportunities for brand awareness.
    • Create awareness at sponsored events like golf days/festivals.
    • Flyer drops and door-to-door outreach if required.
    • Sponsorship opportunity identification/making the most of it.
    • Fibre permission in-field support.
    • In-person attendance/management of activations (Saturdays off after).
    • Social Media Publishing: Maintain/update local Facebook pages with relevant content.
    • Website Map Maintenance: Ensure national website has latest maps showing coverage.
    • Work closely with head office to identify long-term brand awareness opportunities.
    • Reporting: Manage budget/marketing spend aligned to fibre-take-up rate targets.

    Requirements:

    • 2-5 years' experience in managing multiple branch marketing needs.
    • Ability to travel 2-3 times a month.
    • Valid Driver's Licence.
    • Quick thinking/problem-solving skills.
    • Team player/communication skills.

    Education Requirements:

    • Relevant Marketing qualification an advantage.
