    Accounting and Administrative Leadership

    The ideal candidate will oversee the full accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, and reconciliations.

    They must prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and budgets.

    • Conduct month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure all financial records are up-to-date and accurate.
    • Manage cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT, income tax, and other statutory requirements.

    Additionally, they will coordinate and manage the annual audit process, preparing all required documentation and liaising with external auditors.

    Key responsibilities also include implementing and maintaining internal control processes to safeguard company assets and enhance financial efficiency.

    Developing financial forecasts and reports to support strategic decision-making is also a crucial aspect of this role.

    Administrative Management

    The candidate will oversee and manage all administrative functions, including office operations, facilities management, and procurement.

    • Develop, implement, and maintain administrative policies, procedures, and systems to ensure organisational efficiency.
    • Supervise and manage support staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
    • Maintain accurate and organised records for both financial and administrative purposes.

    Coordinating with external vendors, service providers, and stakeholders to meet organisational needs is also essential.

    Leadership and Coordination

    The successful candidate will work closely with leadership to align financial and administrative strategies with organisational goals.

    • Provide regular financial and operational updates to management, highlighting risks, opportunities, and recommendations for improvement.
    • Lead cross-departmental collaboration to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
    • Support staff training and development in finance and administrative processes where applicable.

    Qualifications and Experience

    A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.

    Minimum 5 years of experience in full-function accounting is necessary, with experience in administrative management or a similar role being highly desirable.

    The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.

    Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Pastel, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel is also required.

    Excellent organisational and time-management skills, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills, are essential.

    An analytical mindset with attention to detail is necessary for success in this role.
