    The Head of Delivery Management at Alexforbes is a strategic leader responsible for orchestrating the end-to-end delivery of transformative technology solutions. This role drives operational excellence by ensuring every phase from development and deployment to integration and change management is executed with precision, quality, and agility. By optimizing delivery practices for efficiency, scalability, and reliability, this leader champions automation and continuous improvement, ensuring that technology initiatives not only meet today's demands but are also fit for future growth and innovation.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Define and drive the enterprise-wide technology delivery strategy, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and alignment with corporate goals.
    • Establish and govern a best-in-class delivery framework, incorporating Agile, DevOps, and continuous improvement methodologies.
    • Oversee the standardization of delivery models, ensuring they enable business agility and innovation.
    • Shape policies that enhance collaboration between business and IT teams, ensuring value-driven technology investments.
    • Define success metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for technology execution, efficiency, and business impact.

    Development Management and Engineering Governance

    • Set the strategic direction for software development, ensuring alignment with enterprise technology architecture and modernization efforts.
    • Oversee the adoption of modern engineering practices, such as cloud-native development, AI-driven software automation, and microservices architecture.
    • Establish governance frameworks that ensure software quality, security, and regulatory compliance.
    • Ensure that development strategies support business innovation, customer experience, and rapid time-to-market.
    • Influence enterprise decisions on technology stack, software lifecycle governance, and technical debt management.

    Deployment & Release Management Governance

    • Define the enterprise-wide deployment and release strategy, ensuring a seamless, risk mitigated, and efficient rollout of technology solutions.
    • Oversee the establishment of governance models for deployment frequency, risk assessment, and rollback mechanisms.
    • Drive the transition toward feature-driven, automated, and incremental release strategies, minimizing disruptions while maximizing innovation velocity.
    • Ensure that business continuity and security compliance are embedded in deployment governance frameworks.
    • Foster a culture of continuous deployment and operational excellence, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
