Employee Wellness Manager - Rustenburg, South Africa - Lusapho Professional Services

Our client in the mining industry is currently searching for an Employee Wellness Manager with at least 5 years' experience.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Develop wellness policies and procedures
- Coordinate wellness initiatives for physical, emotional and mental support
- Provide onsite counselling and referral for offsite counselling
- Case management for IOD, medical, Psychological, Physical and Clinical related
- Oversee full cycle for the medical incapacity process
- Manage interns and their learning program related to Wellness and Communication.
- Assist with the recruitment of peer educators and ensure that they are trained and developed adequately.
- Source, negotiate with service providers to deliver wellness support when needed.
- Manage Wellness service providers, implement strategies for employee wellness, research and benchmarking Wellness initiatives.
- Work with the transformational department to introduce wellness within the communities, prepare and manage the wellness budget.
- Prepare and report on wellness management to government bodies and DMRE when required.
- Prepare and present courses to stakeholders concerning wellness challenges.
- Adherence of facilitation standards, methods, and procedures
- Conduct research studies of physical work environments, organizational structures, communication systems, group interactions, morale, and motivation to assess organizational functioning.
- Identify interventions and programs for individuals and teams
- Integrate the functional outputs with the work of other functions in the organization.
- Implement cultural interventions as and when needed.
Requirements:
- Registered Counsellor or Social Worker (HPCSA) (SACSSP)
- Bachelor's Degree or related tertiary qualification
- Background in manufacturing or mining industry will be an added advantage
- Proficient MS Office package
- Design platforms (Video's and image creation) and Canva /Photoshop design
- Conceptualizing, designing and communicating information
- Debriefing and counselling experience
- Creating innovative and exciting wellness campaign
- Business presentation skills and report writing for business results
- Coordinate and set up the annual values survey, facilitate the process and provide feedback to the company.
- Conducting climate and engagement surveys
