- Guiding and developing credit analysts
- Graduate qualification in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related disciplines (Science)
- 5 Years + working within a retail credit environment, with a specific focus on pricing of credit products. of which 2 years in a pricing role
- Strong reporting and analytics background within the Financial Services industry
- Python knowledge is advantageous.

The Manager Pricing and Profitability has the key responsibility in the business for the driving development, analysis and monitoring of the pricing strategy for new business that supports the overall originations strategy and business targets. The scope of influence includes:•Development, maintenance and monitoring of pricing and profitability models
•On going pricing model execution to ensure that returns remain in line with expectations by adjusting
oInterest rates
oCredit life rates
oMax term and capital offers
•Close working relationship with the originations manager to ensure effective and aligned responses to changes in risk outcomes
•Input into budget and planning discussions
•On going test and learn mindset to test and optimize pricing philosophy
•Assist in system design and monitoring to identify potential revenue leakage
•as well as managing and guiding analysts within originations and the wider credit team.
·Monitoring and optimizing the use of pricing and profitability models to assist the business in meeting business objectives within defined risk appetite limits
·Understanding pricing and selection dynamics in the market in order to develop appropriate strategic responses.
·Portfolio segmentation to understand high risk and high return segments and recommend appropriate treatments.
·Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop effective solutions.
·Communicate various findings and trends to provide clear strategic direction.
·Prepare reports and presentations, delivering information for use in executive level reports and financials.
·Write or assist in the drafting of ad hoc and recurring reports.
·Work with teams on-site and remotely to drive projects and work streams forward.
