Description

Responsibilities:


  • Technical Leadership and Supervision of the Shift artisans.
  • Managing the artisan shift cover, holidays, training and project release time.
  • Performance management of the shift engineering team to achieve KPIs.
  • Coordinating Engineering Shift priorities (Reactive and Planned maintenance work).
  • Planning and communicating shift priorities with FLM's to ensure effective support.
  • Conduct 1:1's discussions with team members, Development Plans and PDR Objectives.
  • Individual performance discussions and maintaining shift record cards.
  • Utilisation of Shift artisans.
  • Handovers and communicating compliance at Daily meetings.
  • Return to work interviews of Shift artisans.
  • Delivering Team briefs and updates.
  • Coordinating the execution of engineering shutdown and breakdown activity.
  • Facilitating team Problem Solving Sessions.


Daily decisions without reference to manager

  • Setup and manage shift maintenance tasks as well as allocate resources.
  • Liaise with the other maintenance functions to ensure key support and resources are focusing on the right issues.
  • Engage the Maintenance Planning to ensure all KPIs reports are made available for review with team.
  • Resolve daily plant breakdowns and complete root cause analysis while leveraging the Reliability function for key support.
  • Liaise with line Front Line managers, QA Supervisors and other stakeholders to ensure maintenance support on key issues.

  • 40% PEMM Annual Maintenance score.
- >900 AIB Food Safety score.

  • Zero Engineering Safety incidents.
  • 100% Priority 1 Work Order compliance.
- >80% Planned Work order compliance.

  • 75% Engineering Utilisation.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified artisan with at least N5 qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years maintenance experience in the FMCG environment.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of MS Office and maintenance software.
  • Technical abilities to resolve complex engineering plant breakdowns.
