    Branch Manager Job Description

    Main Purpose:

    The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a branch in a profit-oriented manner while providing sustainable service and trade of agricultural products to the designated area.

    Key Requirements:

    • A Grade 12 qualification, with an agricultural background being advantageous;
    • Two to three years of experience in an agricultural environment;
    • A valid driver's license.

    Essential Skills:

    • Effective communication and language skills in English and Afrikaans;
    • The ability to thrive in a competitive agricultural setting;
    • Strong numerical and organisational abilities;
    • The capacity to inspire and motivate staff, as well as enforce disciplinary actions in accordance with the Labour Relations Act;
    • Excellent leadership qualities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supporting management in administrative tasks;
    • Contributing to market share growth initiatives;
    • Assisting in personnel matters and stock control;
    • Maintaining assets and overseeing their upkeep.
