    Description

    Core Purpose:

    To promote and deliver high-quality patient care and wellness in accordance with industry standards.

    The incumbent will execute Nursing duties within the established standards, procedures, and protocols set by the South African Nursing Council and Scope of Practice.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with Doctors, multi-disciplinary team members, and the community to provide holistic support to patients and their families.
    • Supervise allocated team members within a specialized unit.

    Requirements

    Nursing Qualifications

    • Nursing degree/diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery
    • Registration with South African Nursing Council (SANC) as Registered Nurse
    • Qualification in Neonatal and or Child Nursing and or Critical Care Nursing

    Preferred Experience

    • Post-registration experience
    • Previous experience in a private hospital environment

    Essential Skills

    • Computer proficiency
    • BLS qualification (advantageous)
    • Updated NALS/ PALS/ (advantageous for specialized units)
