Summary
We are looking for an efficient Payroll Administrator to join our team who will be responsible for all aspects of managing employee salary data, ensuring timesheets are accurate and payments are made on time.
Payroll Administrator responsibilities include managing all aspects of payroll, from data capturing, importing of batches, leave accrual, WCA calculations, UIF submissions, to EMP201 submissions and IRP5 calculations.
- Administer payroll for employees
- Providing information and answering employee questions about payroll related matters.
- Managing electronic timekeeping systems or manually collecting and reviewing timesheets.
- Calculating payable hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions.
- Preparing and issuing earnings statements.
- Manage all 3rd party payments.
- Control the benefits calculations, recon and payments.
- Issuing pay slips.
- Maintaining employee records.
- Coordinating with the HR department to ensure correct employee data.
- Providing administrative assistance to the accounting department.
- Prepare reports for weekly, quarterly and yearly reviews
- Review and abide by company policies and procedures
- Make sure account balances are correct
- Resolve payroll errors
- Preparing the payroll journals for the finance department
Qualifications:
- Previous Hospitality experience
- Proven work experience as a Payroll Administrator
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sage VIP
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Degree in business administration, finance or accounting preferred
