    Debtors Clerk Position

    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Debtors Clerk to join our team at Bonafide Human Capital Pty Ltd.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date debtor's age analysis to ensure timely payment processing.
    • Ensure Management is promptly notified of any potential problems or issues related to debtor accounts.
    • Process credit notes and write-offs according to company policy and the Department of Accounts (DOA) regulations.
    • Cultivate accurate compliance with VAT legislation to maintain transparency and adherence to tax laws.
    • Administer asset accounting to guarantee 100% accuracy in all transactions involving company assets.
    • Enforce risk management practices by adhering to internal controls and company policies, while assisting in testing for compliance.
    • Maintain confidentiality of passwords and monitor doubtful debts, reporting them immediately to Management.
    • Perform TransUnion checks on new customers and when increasing credit limits to assess their creditworthiness.
    • Verify credit references and implement caution or stop sales for high-risk customers.

    Position Overview:

    The successful candidate will effectively administer control of all debtor accounts, ensuring that the credit application process is followed, payment deadlines are managed, bad debts are minimized, and possible risks are reduced while maintaining positive customer interactions.

    Requirements:

    • A minimum of Grade 12 qualification.
    • 1-2 years' experience in a similar function/role/position.
    • Proficiency in Ms Office, especially Ms Excel.
    • Computer literacy, preferably with Kerridge experience.
    • Possess strong interpersonal skills, emotional maturity, and cross-functional abilities.
