    Job Title: HVAC / Refrigeration Technician

    Job Type: Permanent

    Location: Killarney Gardens, Cape Town

    Salary: Dependent on qualifications and experience

    Working hours: Mon Friday 08h00 to 16h30

    Weekends might be required (overtime will be applicable)

    Job Description:

    My client is seeking an experienced HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, a valid driver''''s license, and strong technical skills in the installation and maintenance of air conditioning units and refrigeration systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Install, repair, and maintain air conditioning units and refrigeration systems.

    Weld with nitrogen and perform pressure tests on piping to ensure system integrity.

    Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.

    Work in standard and potentially non-standard conditions, including evenings and weekends, as required.

    Manage customer interactions and project assignments effectively.

    Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC and refrigeration - must have local South African qualifications

    Valid driver''''s license.

    Proficiency in the installation, repair, and maintenance of air conditioning units and refrigeration systems.

    Skill in welding with nitrogen and conducting pressure tests on piping.

    Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to HVAC and refrigeration.

    Strong customer service and project management skills.

    Additional Requirements:

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Willingness to adapt to changing work schedules, including after-hours and weekend shifts.
