RedCat Recruitment is _
urgently_ seeking a suitably qualified and experienced
TECHNICAL & FACILITIES MANAGER for a large, well-established concern, position based in
Pretoria, Gauteng.

Grade 12.

Valid driver's license / own reliable vehicle.

Relevant engineering qualification (Mechanical Engineering or similar (NQF 7), with previous experience in a hospital environment.

Hands on experience in all areas of technical facilities management, this includes clinical and non-clinical areas (at least 5 years hospital experience).

Ability to communicate on all levels (doctors, management, and employees).

Adhere to all health and safety requirements as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Responsible for leading the technical team in effectively and efficiently achieving the objectives of the department.

Managing costs, the budget, and resources in line with but not limited to the following technical, clinical, and operational requirements - maintain equipment, building and services; managed costs; upgrading, improvement and alterations of the facility and installed equipment; manage technical risks; technical competence.

Must be willing to work overtime, after hours and weekends when required.
