    Job Description:

    We seek a skilled and detail-oriented Editor with a strong background in the news industry to write and edit b2b and trade articles.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Produce industry-specific, newsworthy content that meets audience needs.

    • Oversee editorial processes and manage the team to ensure high-quality output.

    • Ensure adherence to deadlines and maintain quality standards.

    • Develop and implement strategic initiatives and promotional activities.

    • Manage costs for freelancers and optimize resource allocation.

    • Mentor young journalists and foster their professional development.

    • Navigate industry connections by attending relevant functions and events.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience managing news journalists and editing publications; B2B experience is essential.

    • Ability to identify, write, and edit lead stories for niche sectors.

    • Tertiary qualification in communications or journalism.

    • Familiarity with production processes (subbing, proofing, layout).

    • Strong writing skills and creative expression in both writing and design.

    • Flexibility to travel as needed.

    • A valid passport, driver's license, and access to a personal vehicle are mandatory.
