Reconciliations savvy individual needed for a Bank Reconciliations Manager role based in Randburg, Johannesburg.

Permanent position open for a Bank Recons Manager.

Responsibilities

Responsible for carrying out all daily Bank reconciliations for all reconciliation scenarios that occur throughout the Order to Cash process

Ensure regular Bank Recon Reviews and ensure processing of rectification entries
***:
-
Collaborate with the Customer Group and operations to make sure that they are kept informed of all issues that have customer impact regarding payments
***:
-
Work with the system architects to develop, improve and support automation and efficiency of all issues identified by stakeholders
***:
-
Perform and sign-off UAT testing on all banking platform changes
***:
-
Drive initiatives to improve the "Pay" customer journey
***:
-
Reduce the company's reliance on manual recons by transitioning the department onto an automated platform
***:
-
Manage the administration requirements for all banking platform profiles
***:
-
Keep all profiles up to date and perform periodic reviews to align with the policy
***:
-
Develop understanding of related processes and inter-dependability between teams, have broad understanding of underlying data structures
***
Required
***-
6+ years working experience Banking Platforms and reconciliation within media, financial services or telecommunications
***:
-
5+ years in a management role leading a team within a complex environment (preferably in a Shared Services environment)
***:

Strong Knowledge in Banking Profile creation and maintenance
***:
-
Proactive, capable of driving results without supervision
***:
-
Excellent leadership, teamwork and communication skills
***:
-
Proven ability to manage teams
***:
-
Detail oriented with analytical, investigative, problem solving skills

Preferred

Exposure to SAP ERP, MS Dynamics CRM, Hansen's ICX, Clarity and Accurate

Experience in corporate governance, continuous improvement, project management
***:

Technology acumen in Robotics Process Automation, Workflow automation, Business Intelligence and Analytics are advantageous

Qualification

BCom Degree in Accounting or related field
***:

Banking Degree will be an added advantage
