Part of our portfolio, Camps Bay Retreat, seeks an experienced and passionate Hotel Duty Manager.

Minimum requirements

Matric
Tertiary Hospitality qualification preferred
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position within a 4/5 star property
Strong OPERA knowledge advantageous

Duties and Responsibilities

Take complete ownership of all departments in your property focusing on the experience and satisfaction
Manage arrival / departure experience
Room checks
Ensure good TripAdvisor rating all reviews to be responded to in 48 hours
Staff training
Achieve the financial budgets for the month
Payroll
Sign off monthly income statement with backup for variances
Rostering of all staff
Ensure preferred suppliers are used
Property inspections
Monthly evaluation procedures to be done
Work alongside the HR, Finance and operational teams to ensure guest satisfaction
