The Person:


  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain or other relevant fields.
  • 5 to 10 years experience in a demand planning/forecasting role.
  • Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
  • ERP system experience essential.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
  • Intermediate level of Excel at least.
  • Capability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The Job:


  • Develop and execute demand forecasts based on demand patterns and business trends.
  • Support Management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.
  • Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
  • Gather updates on suppliers, distributors, sales, and other stakeholders that can affect demand.
  • Analyse sales, stock and other data statistics.
  • Use and maintain the ERP system.
  • Ensure all relevant reports and presentations are produced weekly, monthly and quarterly.
  • Identify and implement supply chain cost savings opportunities.
  • Develop strategies to optimise stock availability.
  • Work closely with suppliers to effectively balance supply and demand of stock.
