An Insurance company based in Rivonia/Sandton is currently seeking a Commercial Underwriter to ensure the delivery of customer service excellence, within the ambit of the FSB Regulations and Underwriting Guidelines, the effective and efficient execution of processes and to build and maintain relationships with key external and internal stakeholders namely Clients, Insurers, and other divisions within the company.
5 years' experience in
all fields of short term commercial underwriting

To manage a portfolio in conjunction with the Accounts Executive and to do all the underwriting for the Accounts Executive

Underwriting and Administration of the Commercial clients of the company and the Joint venture partners' portfolios, reporting to the Underwriting manager

External - Clients (Policy Holders)

Internal - Management and Directors, Broker Partners and Other departments

Underwriting and administration of new business - Renewals within agreed timelines

Confirmations - Notification of Interest - Amendments - Cancellations - Corrective Action
