    JOB REQUIREMENTS/RESPONSIBILITIES
     To manage and lead Security Risk Management at Client
     To provide expert advice and consultancy to Management on the implementation of security operational plans in line with broader business plans, and to ensure effective contingency plans are in place for crisis situations;
     To implement and manage sound security practices and measures, and compliance with applicable national legislation and international standards;
     To facilitate, monitor and ascertain the implementation of maritime security measures and procedures within Company in compliance with the International Ship and Port Security (ISPS) Code, the Merchant Shipping (Maritime Security) Regulations 2004 and other related maritime security legislation and arrangements;
     To research and monitor security indicators and trends in the organization, and stay abreast of applicable worldwide best practices and regulations ensuring that the business is not exposed to security risks.


    QUALIFICATIONS


    Minimum Requirements


    Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Security Management / Risk Management;

    qualifications and experience in professional security related fields;

    security emergency response;

    Project Management;

    5 years managerial experience;

    5 years crime investigation experience, understanding of the investigation of all on-site crime related incidents.


    Skills


    Sound management and leadership skills;

    sound knowledge of the ISPS code and maritime security regulations and other relevant legislation;

    proven track record in security management or equivalent environment;

    Code EB Drivers Licence;

    Computer Literacy (Ms Office), good communication and influencing skills to drive change at all levels within the organization;

    negotiation and coordination;

    Surveillance/Counter-surveillance (Practical course 2 months (NIA);

    Communication Crypto-Security (SACSA);

    Firearm Coordinator certificate;

    investigations/intelligence;

    knowledge of security and emergency risks within the workplace.
