The role includes but is not limited to adhere to all instructions given by the Support Services and/or Regional Manager related to the maintenance and repairs of equipment, whether it's on site, the commercial laboratory or Support Services Workshop
- A Workshop Supervisor will be responsible to complete all tasks in line with the instruction received to provide a support function to the Employer.
- A Workshop Supervisor is responsible for completing all maintenance tasks assigned to him in a reasonable time frame and keeping to deadlines.
- A Workshop Supervisor will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all equipment and buildings by completing the tasks himself and/or through instructing/ assisting a reporting employee.
- A Workshop Supervisor is to report deviations, irregularities and nonconformances to Supervisor immediately.
- A Workshop Supervisor will be required to verify equipment and update the control list.
- A Workshop Supervisor will be responsible for quality assurance.
- A Workshop Supervisor is responsible to perform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by the Employer.
- A Workshop Supervisor should assist in the upkeep of the 5S within the Support Services Department.
- A Workshop Supervisor should ensure that all Health and Safety rules are adhered to within the division.
- A Workshop Supervisor has the duty to treat all specifications and information used and implemented by the employer as confidential during and after his employment period.
Qualifications
- Grade 12,
- Mechanical, Electrical or similar Electronic qualification or skills and experience sufficient to be recognized as a qualification through
- Recognition of Prior Learning.
- Language: Proficiency in English and Afrikaans (Read, write, speak)
- Computer literacy in Word, Excel, Outlook
