Sales Assistant/driver - Cape Town, South Africa - Tyremart

Description

Sales repsonsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Customer facing counter sales of tyres, wheels, shocks, brakes, suspension and exhausts. Learning to identify vehicle issues and to offer a solution.

Achievement of given sales targets

Maintenance of pre existing account based businesses.

Development of new relationships with local businesses.

Receiving of monies and processing of invoices.

Point of Sale, data capture and supplier invoice entries.

Checking of stock

Exposure to and involvment in the general labour processes associated with the automotive fitment industry.

On the job training will be given

Driving repsonsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Picking up and distribution of stock from central warehouse to associated shops

Packing away of stock and store/stock room maintenance

Collection of various different required stock items from suppliers

Movement of items between the company shops and or related premises.

General labour


Skills:
A sound Knowledge of tyres, brakes, shocks, suspension is useful but not essential

Must be presentable, confident, influential, polite, with an ability to adapt to dealing with a broad range of customer types.

Must be willing to work hard, excel in the tasks given and also not to be shy to get their hands dirty.

Needs to be a team player who will be willing to listen and assist others wear necessary


Education:

Completed Matric


Experience:

Min 1 year of sales experience essential

Minimum 3 years of driving with a clean license essential.
