Role Purpose

The Business Group Leads:
Cloud Platforms and Cloud Applications to support the C2 and Cloudmania business plans. The roles will focus on the acquisition and business expansion partners and customers of partners in South Africa. The successful applicants will work hand in hand with Cloud Vendors, Liquid Intelligent Technologies and Cloudmania.
PDMs and CAMs to drive workload adoption and expansion - Cloud Platforms and Cloud Applications.

The incumbent will be an expert for the workload assisting partners close deals and advising them on the best option available for their customers.

Engage, create, and manage partner activities to ensure workload (Cloud Platforms and Cloud Applications) targets are achieved.

The BG lead is expected to have a deep understanding of the product portfolio, the go-to-market strategies, competitive landscape and the local business opportunity and climate across the workload.

Engaging with partner to determine their workload roadmap for customers. Convert vendor workload roadmaps to suitable roadmaps for partners

  • Drive sales and presales activities
  • Hold regular meetings with partners advocating their workload focus. Build suitable gotomarket campaigns for partners and their customers. Business Strategy and Planning for workload focus. Revenue Generation and Financial Performance for workload.
Accountable, regular engagement with partners and CAMs/PDMs across the group. Accountable for setting partner roadmaps per workload/activity. Responsible for helping partners develop a learning path and achieve competencies
Ongoing. Engage partners in architectural discussions post workshops. Building deep audience insight, including understanding audience segmentation, their attitudes and purchase behaviours.
Build locally relevant customer offers and co-marketing partnerships and integrate into the commercial sales motions.

Identify and attend relevant seminars, workshops and courses. Identify and attend online courses. Contribute to the success of others. Leverage others for your success. Conduct presentations on topics relevant to field of expertise. Assist on topics relevant to field of expertise. Report on agreed success metrics (revenue, scorecard, marketing performance) as part of regular business rhythms.

Microsoft Fundamental Certifications (MS900 or AZ900 or SC900): Essential

Microsoft Associate level Certifications (AZ104 or MS100/101): Desirable


AZ304 Azure Architect Design:
Desirable

Other recognised Cloud Platforms and Cloud Applications qualifications: Desirable

  • 5 Years Experience in

Azure Presales:
Essential

  • 5 Years Experience in

Modern Workplace Presales:
Essential

  • 7 Years Software/ICT marketing experience (cloud preferred): Essential
