    The Business

    Role Headline

    System Engineers areresponsible for the design, development, and implementation of customerprojects, according to defined Siemens standards and customer requirements.

    Responsibilities of the Role

    ·Implementing projects within time,cost and quality parameters.

    ·Transmission Protection andAutomation scheme design – interpreting and translating customer requirementsinto a complete system as well as applying innovative approaches i.e.products, technology and people

    ·Testing of Protection andAutomation schemes – be responsible to generate, testing documentation andperform testing at factory and commissioning onsite as required during projectexecution.

    ·Providing customer support – theProtection and automation system engineer is required to perform post-faultinvestigations as required by the customer.

  • Proactively identify, review, and manage project technical risks and ensures that appropriate mitigation measures are in place.
  • ·Support Business development byIdentifying Business opportunities and Market Potential in the Utility,Infrastructure, Industry and other market verticals.

    Qualifications and Experience

    ·BSc or B.Eng. in Electricalengineering

    ·3 to 5 Years of Protection Designexperience

    ·Good understanding of protectionand substation automation technology systems

    ·Registered as ProfessionalEngineer or Professional Technologist with ECSA

    ·Experience in WinCC design andimplementation.

    ·Experience in Siemens SICAM PASgateway configuration, Siemens SICAM RTUs configuration (Advantageous)

    ·Independent working style, highlyflexible for global travel and going the extra mile

    ·Excellent communication &professional networking skills

    ·Strong intercultural sensitivityand ability to work with teams and stakeholders around the globe

    ·Highly desirable professionalexperience outside of home country

    ·Fluent in English

    ·Valid Driver's license

    ·Passport
