    Finance Business Support Specialist

    About the Role

    We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Support Specialist to provide critical finance business support across our financial systems.

    This role is responsible for ensuring financial integrity, achieving system control objectives, and providing first-line support for end-user access control and training.

    You will work closely with the finance process team to perform testing and sign off of system upgrades and new developments.

    Key Responsibilities

    • System Maintenance and Support:
      • SUPPORTS THE ONGOING SYSTEM MAINTENANCE AND ENSURES SYSTEM CONFIGURATION IS DESIGNED, TESTED, AND IMPLEMENTED AS PER BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS.
      • MONITORS INTERFACES FROM PEER SYSTEMS AND ENSURES IT IS ACCURATE AND COMPLETE. INTERFACE AND ERROR FILES ARE CLEARED FOR ALL ORACLE MODULES FOR ALL ENTITIES ON A TIMELY BASIS.
      • RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPLETING DAILY OPERATIONAL TASKS WITHIN THE FINANCE BUSINESS.
      • PERFORMS SYSTEMS/MODULES/PROFILES AND CONFIGURATION IMPLEMENTATION, SET-UP, MONITOR, MAINTENANCE, ENHANCEMENT, AND UPGRADES TO SUPPORT NEW AND EXISTING FUNDAMENTALILITIES.
    • End-user Maintenance and Support:
      • PROVIDES SECOND LINE SUPPORT TO THE BUSINESS, ASSISTS WITH INCIDENT RESOLUTION.
      • COMPLIES WITH SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENTS.
      • LOADS SERVICE REQUESTS WITH ORACLE METALINK.
    • New Business Initiatives:
      • PROVIDES INPUT INTO THE DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT, TESTING, TRAINING, AND IMPLEMENTATION OF NEW BUSINESS INITIATIVES.
      • WORKS WITH THE FINANCE PROCESS ANALYST TO COMMUNICATE BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS AND ONGOING INTERACTION TO ENSURE THAT ANY DEVELOPMENT MEETS BUSINESS NEED.

    Requirements

    • 5 years of experience in a similar environment.
    • BASIC TO MEDIUM UNDERSTANDING OF ACCOUNTING PRINCIPLES AND EXPERIENCE.
    • INFORMATION PROCESSING AND DATABASE CONCEPTS.
    • ERP SYSTEM SUPPORT AND MAINTENANCE.
