Job Description_

  • Full fabric order process from briefing suppliers, following up on quotes and fabric specs, to the payment of invoices.
  • Capturing received data and maintaining a well organised database (whether electronically and/or in hard copy).
  • Updating database with movement of raw materials.
  • Reconciliation and processing of invoices against goods received versus issues to production orders.
  • Filing of hardcopy documents.
  • Responsible for all associated documents required for strategic stock.
  • Liaise with Jobbers.
  • Follow up and capture fabric prices.
  • File and sorting fabric hangers.

Key Requirements_

  • Matric.
  • Previous work experience preferred and preferably within the manufacturing/production environment (approximately 2 to 3 years).
  • Previous fabric experience an advantage.
  • Good computer literacy specifically strong Excel, Word skills and Outlook Express with fast yet accurate data capturing ability.
  • Knowledge of iSync advantageous.
  • Organised and systematic must be able to organise hardcopy into an accessible well maintained filing system.
  • Carry out all processes within a prescribed time frame while maintaining absolute accuracy.
  • High sense of urgency.
  • High energy and attention to detail.
  • Deadline driven and proactive
  • Able to work in a pressurised environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
