Requirements:


  • A relevant B-Tech or First Degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' post graduate relevant experience
with exposure to rail operations

Key Performance Areas

  • Planning of rail networks and new rail links and ensuring
the integration of passenger rail services with road-based

public transport services

  • Developing a rail operations plan and providing input into
the development and update of the City's Integrated Public

Transport Network operations plan

  • Development and monitoring of a Service Level Agreement
with the Rail Authority

  • Project manage to effectively meet the service delivery
imperatives of the particular business unit or function

area

  • Staff management
  • Control and monitor expenditure
  • Development of tenders and related documentation, as
well as reporting

  • Manage, administer and review contracts and projects
