    IT Business Development Manager

    We are seeking a highly ambitious Business Development Manager to oversee assigned reseller accounts, ensuring the growth and development of relevant brand sales and offerings according to set targets.

    The company is a leading distributor of international Broadband, Wireless, Networking, and VoIP brands, with a strong reputation and proven track record in the ICT industry, trusted by leading ISPs and network operators across Southern Africa.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Responsibilities include:

    • Managing sales and brand performance functions
    • Meeting and exceeding revenue targets
    • Ongoing expansion of active partner base
    • Sales across all countries in SADC
    • Continuous review of business strategy and rebate investment
    • Developing a healthy pipeline across all brands
    • Marketing management
    • Implementing key sales and marketing strategies throughout SADC
    • Engagement with quarterly and annual marketing planning sessions with relevant brands and targeted partners
    • Executing quarterly promo and program planning sessions
    • Developing an account plan that documents key sales and marketing strategies and a management system for measuring performance and success
    • Debt collection
    • Actively monitoring collections across the partner base and engaging until payment is received in full
    • Taking ownership and accountability for all partner queries, whether sales, technical, or finance related
    • Managing sales performance for relevant products and bases
    • Driving revenue targets through targeted brand partners and resellers
    • Driving relevant brand strategy and portfolio within existing and focus-listed brands
    • Displaying knowledge of relevant brand programs and product portfolios
    • Quarterly business review sessions with relevant brands
    • Driving targeted partner development planning and reviews as per the focus list
    • Drive relevant brand product strategy and overview sessions with business partners
    • Existing and new partner recruitment and development
    • Onboarding process regarding operational processes within the focus list
    • Building and managing effective relationships with relevant brand team members
    • Ensuring satisfactory execution of aligned business plans in conjunction with strategic business partners, executives, and brand managers
    • Reporting opportunity details to relevant brands on a regular basis (weekly), showing deal progression and pipeline creation using the Customer Relationship Management system
    • Ensuring sales targets are achieved and reporting any deviations with detailed explanations
    • Ensuring weekly activities and meeting minutes are reported to the Brand Manager
    • Ensuring productivity reports are submitted to the Brand Manager

    Desired Experience & Qualification

    Requirements include:

    • Completed diploma/certificate in IT (beneficial)
    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills at an advanced level (essential)
    • Accpac CRM knowledge (highly beneficial)
    • Proficient in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
    • 5+ years of experience in a Business Development or Account Management role
    • Own vehicle with a valid driver's license
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Creative and solution-driven
    • Open to working in an Agile environment where changes are frequent and technologies evolve
    • Highly organized
    • Focused and performance-driven
    • Knowledge of relevant Yealink products and processes
    • Knowledge of vendor structure to have the correct point of contact
    • Knowledge of the information management industry in South Africa
    • Knowledge of the ICT industry
    • Ability to deliver on service-level agreements
    • Remains calm under pressure
    • Previous experience selling networking products/solutions (beneficial)
    • Proven history of achievement in New Business Development
    • Creative, solution-driven attitude

    Package & Remuneration

    The position offers a basic salary between R30 000.00 and R40 000.00 CTC per month, excluding other benefits and incentives.
