Job Overview :

• We are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to drive business growth in the northern region of South Africa.

Key Responsibilities :

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers across North-West, Gauteng, Limpopo, and Mpumalanga.
• Consistently exceed sales targets and contribute to business expansion.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to grow the customer base.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, including lead qualification, meetings, and proposal creation.
• Maintain and renew contracts with existing clients while ensuring outstanding service.
• Keep accurate sales data and provide regular reports and forecasts to management.
• Collaborate with the Area Manager on planning for installations, training, and promotional activities.
• Conduct cold calling and proactively generate leads, leveraging a strong network within the South African Fruit Industry.
• Attend industry conferences and exhibitions as required.
• Work closely with the central sales assistant to manage quotations.
• Monitor client accounts for outstanding debtors.
• Report directly to the Area Manager and indirectly to the Sales & Marketing Manager.

Requirements :

• Demonstrated experience in sales, business development, and client relationship management.
• Strong negotiation and selling skills, with the ability to tailor solutions to customer needs.
• A proactive and results-driven mindset – a true sales professional.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Strong administrative and organizational abilities.
• A valid driver's license is essential.
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans is mandatory.
• Knowledge of the South African Fruit Industry is highly advantageous.
• Ability to work well under pressure and independently.
