Description

1. Diploma/Degree or equivalent in Operations or Factory Management.
2. At least 5 years of experience in a Senior Operations/Factory Management position.
3. 3 years' experience in Cost Management, Fixing and operating of production machinery.

1. Ensuring efficient and effective operations of the macadamia kernel, cosmetic oil and food grade protein/oil production processes.
2. Effective management and motivation of all production staff.
3. Planning and organising production schedules
4. Monitoring productivity rates and product standards and improvement programmes
5. Negotiating and agreeing production budgets and timescales with managers
6. Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
7. Ensuring quality control standards are met in the production process
8. Overseeing constant improvement of production processes
9. Re-negotiating production timescales or schedules as necessary
10. Ensure that FSSC 22,000 standards are followed in the kernel processing, cosmetic oil and food grade oil and protein production lines

1. Ability to perform under pressure.
2. Ability to set deadlines and achieve them.
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills
4. Strong Literacy and numeracy
5. Strong computer knowledge including accounting software and Excel skills.
