Description
Top Tertiary institution is looking to secure a marketing assistant for their marketing department

To report into the National Sales Manager

Must be bilingual so as to approach English and Afrikaans markets


Responsibilities
Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities
Support marketing executives in organizing various projects alongside the National Sales Manager
Conduct market research and book appointments for presentations

  • Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and nonfinancial information
  • Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success
  • Communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships
  • Work with education consultants to ensure marketing/sales functions are running smoothly

Requirements and skills
Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
Fantastic administration skills and attention to detail imperative
Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach

  • Good knowledge of market research techniques and database
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office,
  • Exquisite communication and people skills
  • Marketing qualification preferred
