Le Roux Attorneys Incorporated, based in Cape Town's CBD, has a position available for an associate attorney in its commercial litigation department.

• Practising general civil litigation and commercial law, with a focus on residential, commercial and farm evictions
• Instituting and defending legal matters in various forums
• Consulting with clients
• Attending to both defended and undefended civil motion court appearances
• Researching and drafting opinions
• Drafting commercial agreements
• Writing articles for the firm's website
• Responding to enquiries from potential clients
• Meeting a monthly fee target

• Attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Team player with strong organisational skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Ability to think creatively and take an innovative and flexible approach to problem solving
• Experience of creating and sustaining a culture of responsive, timely, reliable and knowledgeable legal service

• LLB degree
