Job purpose:

The incumbent would be required to analyse user experience data, concept and develop digital projects, lead effective digital marketing strategies for our clients, and ensuring new business opportunities receive world-class pitch documents.

You will play a pivotal role in growing our business, customer base, and improving user experience across our projects and client campaigns.

You will also need experience and a big passion for digital technologies and all digital marketing channels.
Key objectives and accountabilities

  • Strategic recommendations
Creating presentations for new and existing clients based on your research and insights.
Conceptualising new ideas that are fresh and dynamic.
Taking ownership of new ideas and implementing it from concept to the final product.
Creating new concepts and ideas that can enhance a strategy and direct content curators.
Creation of art direction and copy/ conceptual copy for strategic presentations.
Managing strategic direction for presentations with the content, design department and client services.

Create messaging frameworks through positioning statements, consumer personas, customer journeys and brand plans to ensure the marketing mix is integrated.

  • Research and insights
Inform the creative and digital teams by using customer and competitor research.
Develop full and clear understanding of the existing and new clients and their business.
Keeping in-line with digital trends which can be applied to new and existing clients.
Maintain a knowledge bank of research for industry verticals.
Analyse existing client and user data for strategic insights.
Keep up to date with our audience's preferences and proactively suggest new campaigns across all client portfolios.
Monitor competition and provide suggestions for improvement.

  • Content direction and support
Assist with direction in the creation of content for social media and websites which are linked to a strategy.
Assist and direct the creation of a content calendar for publishing.
Testing new platform features regularly and reporting back on results.
Assist and direct all copywriting for social media and websites.
Assist and direct artwork direction based on the strategic goal.


Producing and presenting high-quality pitch presentations (both internal and client-facing)
Support and direct strategic inputs with client services and assist with positioning potential upsells.
Coach and support copy and QA department with deliverables and alignment to creative goals.
Working closely with design, Content and CSM and ensuring alignment to client objectives.
Assist with potential on-site production projects and provide strategic direction.
Coach and develop all junior staff.

Must have atleast three years' experience as a strategist preferably within Agency.
Excellent understanding of the digital landscape and applied strategy.
Must be able to work under pressure and within deadlines.
