Introduction:

The Company is a Mining Capital Equipment Supplier that requires a Mechanical Draughtsman for product development & manufacture of equipment with an aspiration of growing within the organization - An innovative, lateral thinker that can get the job done


Company and Opportunity:


The Company provides mining solutions in a wide range of underground trackless mining machinery with the appropriate service delivery solution.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Draughtsman to work in a highly technical environment.


Qualifications:


  • A Technical tertiary education advantageous
  • Diploma in Draughting

Requirements:


  • Proficient with Solid Works or 3D equivalent software
  • Proactive and creative approach with strong problemsolving skills.
  • Must have some grasp of engineering and design principles
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Attention to detail.
  • Own transport

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Produce detail drawings to manufacturing and Assembly Plants
  • Provide manufacturing and Assembly Plants with technical support
  • Assist design engineers with drawings from concept to manufacturing.
  • Quality assurance detailing
  • Assist engineers with Product development.
  • Assist engineer(s) with project documentation e.g. Engineering Drawings, etc.
  • Ensure deadlines are met timeously.
  • Liaise with Workshop and Engineering Team
  • Supply drawings for information on request.
  • Communicate with various Departments to resolve issues.
  • Ensure deadlines are met timeously.
