Restaurant Manager - Renowned Establishment - Cape Winelands

Description:

Oversee the daytoday operations of the restaurant, including staff management, customer service, and financial performance.
Ensure high standards of service delivery and guest satisfaction are consistently maintained.
Train, supervise, and motivate restaurant staff to provide exceptional service and achieve performance targets.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
Monitor inventory levels and manage stock control to minimise wastage and ensure optimal supply levels.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in compliance with health regulations.
Plan and execute promotional activities and events to attract customers and boost revenue.
Prepare and analyse financial reports, including sales figures, expenses, and profitability, to identify areas for improvement and costsaving opportunities.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
Sound knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, inventory management, and financial analysis.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
