    About the Role

    This Project Engineer position is based in Johannesburg, offering a unique opportunity to work on various projects.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Collaborate with Department Heads and stakeholders to develop project plans and schedules.
    2. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential project constraints and devise mitigation strategies.
    3. Oversee the design, procurement, and construction phases of projects, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
    4. Manage project expenses, track costs, and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.
    5. Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, address issues, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
    6. Serve as a liaison between internal teams, external contractors, and Department Heads to facilitate effective communication and resolution of project-related issues.

    Requirements

    1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Additional qualifications in Project Management courses are beneficial.
    2. A minimum of three years' experience in a Project Engineering role.
