Our client is growing and looking for an
Afrikaans-speaking Field Service Technician for the Service, Engineering and Projects departments.

The Technician will be a vital support structure to the engineering implementation of systems on a project level, as well as the service of the systems thereafter for our clients.

Must have a valid driver's licence and speak Afrikaans and English.

Position details:

Type:
Permanent

Primary Purpose:

You will be responsible for servicing, supporting, implementation and installations of systems and equipment for Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems that control heating, cooling, dehumidification, humidification and quality of air.

Travel requirements:
In and Around Gauteng

Job description / core competencies:
Project commissioning planning with arrangement of electrical and controls needs with engineering and project supervisor.

Plan, arrange appointments for services with customers.

On-site thinking, management of work quality and standards and time frames

Liaise with customers and their expectations

Manage all service plans allocated to you.

Weekly meetings prior and during services and projects. Postmortems of all completed service intervals projects.

Supervision/management of contractors on site together with internal team.

Safety management and compliance control.

Ensure that the work and job is complete according to SANS, SAIRAC standards when it is finished.

Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

Language:
English, Afrikaans

Qualification:
Matric, Trade Test Electrician or HVAC or Refrigeration

Other Qualification:
Instrumentation and controls training/ diploma

Experience:

Industrial Process and Industrial installation experience

Min. 5 years + relevant Field Service Technical experience

Wiring; Fault finding; controls, instrumentation

Industrial Processes and /or HVAC experience beneficial.

Microsoft Packages:
Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

Intuitive and thinks ahead

Efficient and hard working

Good customer relationship management

Self-motivated

Willingness to learn

Salary:
R40, R65,000.00 per month
