    Product Specialist Role:

    Grade: Specialist / Manager

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Implement and enhance various products and features to execute the Vitality strategy.
    • Lead cross-functional development teams for new products or features, taking them from conceptualization through to implementation.
    • Ensure customer experience, digital, and gamification trends are up-to-date.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver an exceptional member experience.
    • Manage workload priorities and ensure delivery aligns with Vitality's strategic outcomes.
    • Optimize self-servicing and operational efficiency in all products.
    • Nurture relationships with Vitality partners and suppliers.
    • Gain a comprehensive understanding of Vitality's product and feature offerings.
    • Identify critical elements and key failure points in products.
    • Contribute to research to inform product design and refinement.
    • Present insights on product performance against strategic objectives.

    Key Deliverables:

    • Liaise with business areas to drive projects forward.
    • Create business cases for new product/feature implementations.
    • Presents information to gain project buy-in.
    • Approve business specifications and user requirements.
    • Embed operational efficiency in new and existing products.
    • Collaborate with departments to achieve strategic objectives.

    Supporting the Head of Vitality Product Management:

    • Plan and deliver new and existing product enhancements.
    • Define and execute the Vitality strategy.
    • Perform other functionally related duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree minimum.
    • 3 - 5 years' experience in product development/management or digital marketing.
    • Managerial level experience preferred.
    • Familiarity with digital trends and strategies.
    • Agile product ownership experience.
    • Proven track record of leading projects and people.
    • Relationship building skills.
