Minimum Requirements:


  • Must have a Bachelor Degree in Engineering Technology (BTech (Eng)) or Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSc(Eng) / Bachelors of Engineering (BEng): NQF Level 7 minimum.
  • Passion for the automotive industry.
  • Good analytical & problemsolving ability.
  • Essential motor industry knowledge of PPAP and APQP processes
  • Exceptional computer literacy with knowledge of Covisint, GroupSupply, Teamcenter and MDSystems. As well understanding of Solidworks, CATIA and MS Office.
  • Must have a very good understanding of automotive quality systems (e.g. ISO 9001, VDA 6, ISO TS 16949 and Q1)
  • At least 5 years engineering experience.
  • Good communication skills in English, verbal and written.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Good technical report writing skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and manage a multidisciplinary team to ensure that projects are completed in a timeous and costeffective manner.
  • Interact with customers and potential customers during the initial RFQ phase, and throughout the development program of new products.
  • Manage projects through the use of various customer portals, communicate with all stakeholders and ensure effective project management standards.
