We are building a premium talent pool of Technology & Digital leaders who have deep experience in financial services and insurance systems, and who can drive enterprise-wide transformation.
We are prioritising the following roles:
IT Service Management Lead
Insurance Systems Delivery Manager
Digital Transformation Lead (Insurance)
Cyber Risk Specialist (Insurance)
Information Security Manager
These roles require seasoned professionals who can operate at the intersection of
technology, business, and regulatory assurance, and who bring demonstrable leadership in banking or insurance technology environments.
Depending on the assignment and specialist track, responsibilities may include:
Technology Operations & Service Management
Lead IT service delivery teams and ensure adherence to ITIL and enterprise standards.
Optimise service management processes (incident, problem, change, release).
Drive service continuity, SLA compliance, and operational maturity uplift.
Insurance Systems Delivery
Oversee end-to-end delivery of core insurance platforms (policy admin, claims, underwriting).
Translate business needs into functional and technical solution designs.
Manage vendor relationships and system integrations across complex environments.
Lead UAT, deployment, and post-implementation stabilisation.
Digital Transformation Leadership
Define transformation roadmaps focused on digital channels, CX, automation, and modernisation.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape strategy and translate it into executable programmes.
Oversee delivery governance, change management, and value realisation.
Cyber Risk & Information Security
Lead risk assessments, threat modelling, and cyber risk reporting across insurance environments.
Develop and implement information security policies and frameworks.
Monitor compliance with regulatory and industry standards (e.g., POPIA, ISO 27001, NIST).
Support incident response, vulnerability management, and recovery processes.
Requirements:
8–18 years of experience in technology leadership, digital delivery, cybersecurity, or IT operations.
Proven financial services or insurance systems exposure is mandatory.
Demonstrated success leading teams, platforms, or critical transformation programmes.
Strong understanding of insurance or banking system architectures.
Knowledge of ITIL, infrastructure operations, service management tooling, or DevOps.
Familiarity with cloud environments, cybersecurity controls, and digital platform delivery.
Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, or equivalent.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or related fields.
Relevant certifications such as
ITIL, CISSP, CISM, PMP, Prince2, Agile, SAFe, or similar.
