Description

Fantastic opportunity available for a Junior Quantitative Analyst to join an established and respected team. Exciting opportunity to work with new leading technology in the investment management space.

Bring your passion for the industry and your 1-3 year's quants experience and knowledge of the various asset classes, into a role that is a good blend of research and client interaction.

Responsibilities:

Perform QA testing to ensure market standards and functionality
Quantitative responsibilities
Analytics solutions and communication of these with clients
Assist with any further analytical tool enhancements
Working alongside developers to implement updates as required
Work closely with the product team and assist trading desk and traders
Assist with any updates or maintenance of the research tool as needed
Assist the team with quantitative support

Requirements:

Minimum of completed Finance/ Investments or Quantitative degree no less than honours ideally: Maths / Stats / Engineering / Actuarial Science, BBusSci, BSc or similar
Minimum of advanced MSExcel skills
Knowledge of VBA and basic SQL essential
Knowledge of R and/or Python would be beneficial
Must have a passion and good knowledge base of the financial markets industry
Must be a good team player
Highly numerate
Client service focussed and personable
Good levels of enthusiasm and positive outlook
High attention to detail and accuracy
