Senior Training Specialist - City of Johannesburg

Job summary
Oversee day-to-day training operations across Cabin, Ground and Technical divisions ensuring all sessions are scheduled resourced and delivered according to the training plan Monitor training schedules to ensure adherence to timelines optimal resource allocation and effective utilisation Act as the operational escalation point for direct reports resolving delivery challenges and ensuring continuity Drive cross-functional standardisation of training processes documentation and practices to maintain consistency and quality across all portfolios Facilitate alignment between training teams planning instructors and administrative support to ensure consistency in training practices reporting and adherence to the Regulatory schedule Foster effective communication across divisions to optimise training execution collaboration Identify gaps in training operations recommend improvements implement solutions enhance effectiveness efficiency Gather input from the team on operational challenges barriers collaborate stakeholders drive process improvements Document lessons learned track recurring issues recommend practical enhancements strengthen delivery overall efficiency Compile weekly performance summaries dashboard inputs ensuring accurate reporting on delivery utilisation completion rates instructor performance Provide timely accurate reports progress risks key performance metrics highlighting variances recommending corrective actions escalating critical issues necessary Monitor review instructor utilisation ensure optimal deployment resources proactively addressing under or over-utilisation Support Manager Regulatory Training audit readiness validating documentation flows direct reports ensuring compliance regulatory requirements Encourage promote embody spirit teamwork Assess optimise performance direct reports Provide specialised insights direct reports Guide support develop direct reports Grade 12 Equivalent Essential Relevant diploma degree Education Aviation Management Training OR years Aviation experience Essential Prior involvement SACAA audits internal compliance reviews Advantageous AIMS experience Advantageous Operational knowledge aviation structures delivery models Working knowledge SACAA regulations framework Understanding rostering scheduling systems e.g. AIMS Personality Attributes Professional Integrity Proactive Assertive Committed willing take new challenges Able cope changing workload priorities pressure Application Guideline Email applications will not be accepted Preference given members under-represented designated groups Should no feedback provided within two weeks closing date please consider application unsuccessful FlySafair Reserves The Right Not proceed vacancy Appoint selected candidates based operational requirements Closing Date January Show more Show less
