    Description

    Job Summary

    • Support the Sales Manager to achieve sales targets by managing relationships with customers and pursuing profitable growth opportunities in assigned customer accounts, thereby contributing to the sales turnover.
    • Support the development of customer account plans for all assigned customers by identifying relevant customer needs, prioritizing initiatives and company resources to meet customer needs, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
    • Monitor the progress of projects, deliveries, or accounts closely with customers and contractors, resolving problems, responding to technical and commercial queries, and inspecting painting progress to ensure project completion on the agreed time and obtain optimum coating performance.
    • Promote products, services, and solutions to owners and consultants through regular visits, product presentations, and follow-ups, and respond to inquiries to recommend and ensure the company is specified for projects, thus creating sales opportunities for the company.
    • Follow up on projects within allocated geographical territories and concept markets by coordinating and monitoring closely with project personnel to ensure Jotun products are used to achieve sales budgets.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Customer Relationship Management:
      • Manage relationships with customers to achieve sales targets and pursue profitable growth opportunities.
    • Customer Account Planning:
      • Develop customer account plans by identifying customer needs, prioritizing initiatives, and allocating company resources.
    • Project Monitoring and Support:
      • Monitor project progress, resolve problems, and provide technical and commercial support to customers and contractors.
    • Sales Promotion and Marketing:
      • Promote products, services, and solutions to owners and consultants through regular visits, product presentations, and follow-ups.
    • Budget Achievement:
      • Ensure Jotun products are used to achieve sales budgets within allocated geographical territories and concept markets.

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12 qualification
    • 4-6 years of relevant experience in a similar position
    • Advanced PC literacy skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
    • Good command of verbal and written English and Afrikaans languages
