Job Overview:

A dynamic financial services firm is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to industry regulations.
Manage the client onboarding process, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Develop and maintain streamlined systems and workflows for operational processes.
Prepare and present periodic management reports with KPIs, identifying areas for improvement.
Collaborate with internal teams, including compliance and legal, to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
Monitor and manage operational risks, ensuring corrective actions are taken when necessary.
Lead and support a team, providing clear direction and ensuring proper resource allocation.
Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

Qualifications & Skills:

Relevant qualifications such as BCom Law, BCom Finance, or BCom Accounting.
35 years of proven experience in operations management within a regulated financial services environment.
In-depth knowledge of FICA, FAIS, and relevant financial services regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office and operational software tools.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills.
Excellent leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing teams effectively.
Solid ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to prepare and present detailed management reports.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
