    Building a Sustainable Short-Term Insurance Business

    Momentum Group is seeking an experienced professional to establish and grow its Short-Term Insurance business unit. The ideal candidate will develop and execute strategies to increase market share through training and technical sales support.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Identify and recruit new Financial Advisors (FAs) and Specialist FAs
    • Provide comprehensive training and support to FAs on Momentum Insure offerings
    • Discover and capitalize on opportunities for FAs to expand their business
    • Drive sales growth through effective marketing and sales initiatives

    Competencies Required:

    • Strong technical skills in short-term insurance
    • Excellent relationship-building and convincing abilities
    • Results-focused with a tenacious approach
    • Effective presentation skills and risk awareness
    • Cross-selling capabilities

    Requirements:

    • Matric/Grade 12 (minimum)
    • Relevant marketing and/or sales degree, diploma, or equivalent (desirable)
    • FAIS Credits (minimum 30 credits in short-term insurance if date of first appointment is before 2010); or full recognized qualification as per FSCA qualification list (desirable)
    • In-depth knowledge of current regulatory environment (FAIS, FICA, POPIA)
    • Specialist knowledge of short-term insurance products (personal and commercial lines)
    • Minimum 4 years short-term insurance experience in independent financial advisory/brokers
    • Face-to-face engagement with brokers
    • Valid driver's license and own transport

    This position is currently available at our office in Cape Town.
