Senior Financial Manager Required

This senior role serves as the 2nd-in-command to the Head of Finance at our mining operation, requiring experience in mining, quarrying or manufacturing and a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing people.

The mine is located approximately an hour outside of Pretoria, heading towards Limpopo, necessitating daily on-site work at the operations. As such, it is essential that you reside in Pretoria East/North-East due to the lengthy commute from other areas.

Responsibilities will include:

Overseeing the finance function, encompassing accounting skills and expertise in all areas
Managing inventory and warehouse operations
Supervising transactional banking and treasury processes
Coordinating payroll activities
Leading the Finance team

Candidates should possess a degree in Finance, accompanied by 10 years of relevant working experience. A strong background in SAP systems is also mandatory, given the nature of our operations.

In addition to the full range of finance responsibilities, this role requires sector-specific experience in mining/quarrying or manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience working directly within the operations, as opposed to head office roles.
