The organization is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Inbound Call Centre Agent to join their team. You will be responsible for receiving calls and contacting emergency services on a 24/7 basis. This crucial role requires individuals who are capable of handling stressful situations with professionalism and empathy.


Responsibilities:


  • Receive and handle calls in a calm and efficient manner.
  • Assess the nature of each call and determine the appropriate course of action.
  • Contact and coordinate with emergency services to ensure a timely response.
  • Gather relevant information from callers and accurately record details.
  • Provide reassurance and support to callers in distress.
  • Follow established protocols and procedures for handling emergency situations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with utmost care.
  • Adhere to quality standards and service level agreements.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 6 months experience in a call centre environment.
  • Fluency in both English and Afrikaans, both spoken and written.
  • Valid driver's license and own reliable transport.
  • Reside in Pretoria.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed while assisting callers in distress.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in capturing information.
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts, including night shifts.
